The Pre-Qualification process begins with a phone call to John (858 495-1889) or Byron (858 495-1890) in which we ask you to provide the following information:

  1. Income (salary, bonus, overtime and any other income....)
  2. Debt (monthly payments and current balances on accounts, child support, alimony...) 
  3. Credit history (have bills been paid on time?)
  4. Assets available for down payment and cash reserves (checking and savings balances, other liquid assets, retirement accounts, gift, stocks and bonds...)
  5. Other real estate (second home, rental, commercial property)
  6. Any other issue that may affect your financial status. 

We can usually gather this information in a five minute phone call, analyze the information, then report to the buyer what the limits would be for a mortgage approval.

The next step is Pre-Approval.
