We help them determine the best mortgage for their individual circumstances and we deliver the loan, on time, at very competitive rates. We educate our clients regarding the important issues involved in choosing a loan and help our clients make an informed decision. We take our fiduciary responsibilities very seriously to act in our clients best interests.

Old Mission Mortgage, Inc was founded in 1990 by John M. Smith, CFP® and Byron Gutwein. At that time, both were working for a local mortgage banker. They determined that they could provide more competitive rates, better programs and superior service to their clients if they had the freedom to work with the hundreds of mortgage wholesale lenders available to independent mortgage brokers.
Our clients tell us how happy they are to find us. They really appreciate our approach to home loans - honest, straightforward, complete disclosure and no surprises. We spend a lot of time educating our client as to the issues involved in selecting a mortgage product. Getting a home loan is one of the more complex financial transactions one undertakes and it's very important to have the right team working for you.
